New Story in When You’re Strange Anthology
I just wanted to make a quick post and let you all know that my story Convincing Vince has been published in the When You’re Strange Anthology now available on Amazon (eBook and paperback)! Convincing Vince was inspired by all of the “ghost light” stories I’ve stumbled across in my own local folklore from South Arkansas. The Gurdon Light in Gurdon, Arkansas and the Crossett Light in Crossett, Arkansas played a huge role in providing inspiration for this story. When I lived in Beaumont, Texas there was also a spot called Bragg Road that I visited on occasion that helped as well. What I find interesting about these “ghost light” sightings is how the same story tends to spring up no matter where you live and because of that, I feel like anyone can relate to Convincing Vince. As usual, I went supernatural with this tale, but the twist is one I’m proud of and sets this story apart from others like it. If you get the chance, pick up this anthology and let me know what you think!
I haven’t read all of the other stories yet, but of the ones I’ve checked out so far, this anthology is really good and I’m proud to be alongside some fantastic authors! I will update this post as soon as I finish reading and give you my thoughts on the stories I like best.
