How Do You Get the 540 Free Etsy Listings?
The process only took a couple of minutes and is really simple. For starters, make sure you are logged into the Etsy account connected to your shop, then go to Etsy.com/promotions. I entered the first code, 1515, then hit the Get my free listings button. That took me to my listings page and added 500 free listing credits to my account. Before I started this, I had 10 free listings already in my account from my Etsy Plus subscription.
I then went back to the same promotions page and entered code 4040. That added another 40 free listings to my total. Boom! 540 free listings added to my account! I was expecting some kind of catch, spinning wheel, sacrifice to the algorithm gods, something. Nope. Etsy just added them, lol.

If you subscribe to Etsy Plus, I would use any remaining monthly Etsy Plus listing credits before claiming these promotional credits. I’ll explain more in the next section.

Should You Claim the Free Etsy Listings if You Don’t Need Them Yet?
If your account qualifies, I would claim them. I just would not use “I have 540 free listings” as an excuse to upload 540 random products by the end of the week, lol. Free listing fees give you more room to test products, renew listings, and expand your shop without paying the usual $0.20 each time. They don’t make weak products stronger, fix bad photos, or convince buyers they suddenly need a mug that says, ‘Live, Laugh, Loopty-Lou, and Damned If You Do.” Definitely use them, especially heading into Q4, but don’t force them just to up your listing numbers. Quality over quantity will always serve you better.
